Microsoft showcased Microsoft Dynamics 365 in front of 15.000+ attendees at the Worldwide Partner Conference 2016 in Toronto (Canada), the annual conference for Microsoft’s partner community.
Microsoft Dynamics 365, due to be released by the end of the 2016, is a Cloud-hosted service which unites the CRM and ERP products of Microsoft under a Common Data Model (CDM). It further integrates other services of Microsoft, such as Office, Cortana and Power BI.
« Microsoft continues to lead the transition towards the Cloud », observed Dario DE LA PUENTE, CEO of NEREA, who just back from the conference. « Integrating Power BI in Dynamics could help to spread the use of analytics tools, before deploying advanced solutions such as the ones developed by our partner WIZATA. »
While it was too early to talk about the merge of LinkedIn with Microsoft’s products and new opportunities in Digital Marketing, the WPC is an excellent way to find new synergies and partners.
As for new products showed at the conference, Dario DE LA PUENTE had a « keen interest for Flow, which can be used to manage and track tasks and processes between multiple applications and services within a unique workflow. »
For further flexibility, clients will be able to add new functions to the Microsoft Dynamics 365, depending on the tasks and roles of the final user. A professional marketplace, AppSource, will allow Microsoft’s partners to showcase apps and services to enhance the platform. « AppSource is an innovative marketplace which allows to easily find and configure applications and services of Microsoft’s partners. This is why we are preparing to offer our vertical solutions on AppSource, to facilitate even more their adoption », reflects the CEO of NEREA.
